| Hi! My name is Kim Armentrout and I am new to First UMC – brand new – I just started in July 2022. I am excited to be here and am energized by the ministries of this church. While I get to do lots of amazing things as a pastor, my favorite is helping people grow in their relationship with God. If you are looking for a church home, I hope that you will give First UMC a try. We would love to be your church home and I would be honored to be your pastor. When I am not busy pastoring, I enjoy reading, being outside, and spending time with my family. My husband, Darryl, works as a chaplain at Dayton Children’s Hospital, and he also works for the City of Dayton. Darryl and I have a daughter, Maya, who is 12, and we think she is the best! We like to go on family adventures as well as spending time at home.

| My name is Daniel Cardenas, I was born in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. I have been a pastor for at least 4 years in Mexico, and now, God has given me and my dear wife the pleasure to come here and be part of the leadership of First United Methodist Church in Middletown, Ohio, and also, be the Latino Ministry pastor. There is a joy in our hearts to serve, love, and share the Gospel with the Latino Community in Ohio. ¡Dios les bendiga!

| I am so happy to have been a part of this wonderful church family since 1995, and as Director of Worship since 2006. I look forward every day to creating elements of our worship services, playing the organ, directing the choir, and producing the First Friday @ First Methodist Concert Series. When I’m not at church, I enjoy playing piano for local theater productions, working in the yard, trying new recipes, and discovering the architecture in cities big and small. I have 2 sons, one who lives in Norwood, OH, and one who lives in my home state of Oklahoma. If you enjoy singing or playing an instrument, I would love to talk to you about our Music Ministry and how you can serve God with your gifts!

| Hello! My husband Rick and I live in Middletown. We have 3 wonderful grandchildren. I enjoy singing in the choir and teaching in Jr. Church. I am an active member of United Women In Faith. I also enjoy working with Middletown Lyric Theatre. I retired, after 40 years, from the Marketing Research Industry. As the Office Manager, I want to help the staff and members achieve their goals as it relates to church life.

| I returned to Middletown (my hometown) in 2019 to retire. I am so fortunate to have found First United Methodist as my church family. In April of 2023, I became a part of the wonderful leadership of this church as the treasurer. I love singing in the choir, listening to music and spending time working with plants. I feel very lucky to have found a home and a church in the place I grew up. I look forward to getting to know you all.

| Susan has been attending FUMC for 50 years. She has been the finance secretary for 1 year. She enjoys participating in the UMW and overseeing the church nursery. She also handles accounting for her husband’s business in Middletown and plays the piano for various schools and churches in the area. She lives in Monroe with her husband and has two sons, Johnny (wife Rachel) and Bobby (wife Sarah), and a granddaughter, Ellie.

| Affectionately known as “Super Cooper,” Greg has never met a piece of equipment or a maintenance problem he couldn’t handle! A true Renaissance man, he’s also been known to rock a baby to sleep in the church nursery.
